This Social Value Policy Statement is founded on our core values and responsible leadership principles and applies to all areas of our business, our employees and all parties who undertake activity on our behalf. It follows the national TOMS (Themes, Outcomes and Measures ) framework and integrates our Sustainment, Environmental, Wellbeing and local commitments. It supports our commitment to meeting obligations under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012.
Viewdeck Engineering Ltd (‘the Organisation, 'we', 'us' or 'our’) is committed to creating a sustainable inclusive society actively managing our operations in ways which optimise our value to the communities in which we work. Social Value is therefore intrinsic to everything we do, for this reason we manage Social Value through a suite of interdependent policies and procedures which collectively deliver our objectives. This policy applies to all employees, associates, secondees, agency staff and third parties who undertake activity for and on our behalf. It applies to the goods and services we procure, our direct operations and the services we provide to our customers.

Climate
We are committed to fulfilling our share of the responsibility for Environmental and Sustainable goals, by continuing to reduce our impact on air, land, and water. Our Sustainability and Environment Policy outlines our policy and goals in more detail. We will :
- Implement responsible practices to reduce carbon in our operations, materials and delivery methods.
- Work with our customers and supply chain to deliver net zero carbon emissions.
- Utilise water responsibly.

Communication
We promise to be transparent and clear in our communication. Where possible, we will track and share our learning and best practices to help inform decisions that could affect our internal and external stakeholders. We will:
- Define our social value objectives and outcomes.
- Assess risks, opportunities, and potential impacts.
- Track and analyse performance using recognised performance measures.
- Capture and share learning and best practice to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement in social value outcomes.
- Communicate our impacts, using common language, promoting key messages to internal and external stakeholders.
